The People Of God
His bride and His church,
Witness to the never-changing beauty of His love, grace, wisdom and justice,
Demonstrated to us in the person and work of Jesus Christ His son,
Who ransomed us from the eternal punishment we deserve,
And gave us life forever with Him, the ultimate treasure.
We are sons and daughters adopted into His royal family,
Living boldly in love and sacrifice under his perfect rule by his perfect Spirit,
And declaring Jesus as King in to every nation, culture, and tribe under heaven.
A Movement
We are a sent, multi-generational movement of believers in Christ, taking the gospel to all cultures and tribes in Chicago. What this means practically is that every Christian in our church and member of our body is a missionary, sent by God to enjoy Him, and to live and speak the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world of their everyday contexts.
